Big hall

This hall is 9m x 9m with a double door to the café area. It has a sprung floor with under floor heating. It will seat 50 comfortably and is suitable for large meetings, performances, mini-conferences and leisure events. It is furnished with comfortable upholstered seating, plus the choice of rectangular or circular tables. There is a partition between the Big Hall and the Small Hall which can be opened to increase the space available. It is usually screened off by high quality low sound transmission dividing panels. There is a door through the partition to the Small Hall. There is a large amount of storage available to users – reflecting feedback from other community buildings. Users who book long term will have free use of storage facilities. A sink room is attached to allow for art and other craft activities, which will be permitted in this hall provided floor coverings are used.
The high ceiling is sound insulated and has Velux windows which are remote controlled and close automatically with rain.

Small Hall

This space is 6m x 4m with a double door to the café area. It is suitable for small meetings and social gatherings. The Small Hall can be used together with the Big Hall if wished.
It is usually screened off by high quality low sound transmission dividing panels. There is a door through the partition to the Big Hall. It has a large walk-in store for children’s furniture, play group equipment, big toys etc.

Training Room 

This space is 6m x 6m and is available for seminars, and small meetings. It seats up to 20 theatre style. IT equipment and flip charts can be provided. For active classes it takes up to 15 learners.  Designed as a multi-use space, the sockets on walls mean it can be an IT room. This room has a state of the art hearing loop. The high ceiling and good lighting makes it pleasant to be in even in winter and the noise cancelling panels make it a comfortable for singing and teaching. There is a large secure walk in cupboard for regular users to store big items, such as easels or trolleys with IT equipment.

Offices

We have two offices available to rent. One small office for one-to-one councilling or similar activity. The other office can be used for meetings for up to six people.
