Williamson Hall is the village hall for Abernethy and its surrounds. Run by a voluntary committee as a charity / not for profit community resource, the building is owned by the Williamson Trust (Community Trust).
Over the last few years it has been fully refurbished, insulated and re-glazed and is the perfect warm and welcomingvenue for your party, concert, ceilidh, organised youth group sleepover, community or fundraising event.
Our ongoing refurbishment programme means that over the last few years we have installed a new shower room, a defibrillator and free guest wifi. We are currently working on upgrading our lighting to LED. Longer term plans include relaying our access road, installation of e-charging points and disabled parking as well as a spruce up of the hall exterior. We rely on letting revenues to maintain the hall, with grant funding and fundraising used for improvements.
