About All Hallows by the Tower - Porch Room
An upstairs church hall suitable for meetings, workshops or rehearsals.
This bright, wood-panelled room is a charming space suitable for small meetings. It is often used by the church for study groups, and other regular uses include choir rehearsals, education projects and board meetings.
The space is well equipped, with as many chairs and tables as required. There is a TV screen with an HDMI cable for projecting from a laptop, and good mobile signal if using a mobile hotspot. Next to the room is a single toilet cubicle and a well-equipped kitchen which can be used for making refreshments such as tea or coffee. There is an upright piano which can be used for rehearsals.
The church itself is a wonderful place to visit. It is the oldest church in the City of London and includes Saxon, Norman and late-mediaeval features. There is a museum in the crypt where you can see our Roman pavement and discover more about the history of the area and the church.
Please note that unfortunately there is no disabled access to the room as it is up a flight of stairs. It should also be noted that as the tube passes under the church it is audible in the room.
