About Badby Village Hall
Badby Village Hall is situated in the heart of the village, just off Main Street opposite the Maltsters Inn and overlooking The Green – a most delightful and attractive spot. It is widely used to host a wide range of community activities, as well as serving as a popular venue for private meetings, parties, wedding receptions, etc.
There are two rooms available for hire:
The Main Hall – a large (13.1m x 7.2m, 42’ x 23’, ceiling height 4m) wooden-floored hall suitable for meetings (theatre or boardroom layout) or reception-style events. A drop-down projection screen is mounted on the end wall. Maximum allowed capacity is 100.
The Committee Room – a smaller (4m x 3m, 13’ x 9’) room for round-table meetings of a maximum of 8 people (more comfortably 6).
All areas are well-lit and are heated, the costs of which are included in the hire charge. Tables, chairs are included in the hire charge. Hirers are responsible for their own layout and for replacing furniture after use. A configurable stage unit is available by prior arrangement.
Common facilities comprise:
The Kitchen where hirers can prepare tea and coffee (not supplied) and for light catering. The Kitchen is available without extra charge to those hiring rooms, subject to terms and conditions relating to use and cleaning of the kitchen and equipment.
Toilets – male, female and disabled.
Wi-fi (approx. 13-15Mbps download, 8Mbps upload).
A small courtyard at the front of the Hall and a lawn to the rear.
