The Ark in Turners Hill is a modern, multi-purpose community centre with a sports hall, function room with fully fitted kitchen and bar area, small meeting room, Parish Council office, book swap, foot clinic and osteopath clinic.
Dunlop Hall
This is a sports hall with a kitchenette attached. This room is used for sports classes, children's parties, discos, lectures, fairs and shows. Chairs and tables are included in the price. Room size is 17m x 8.5m. Maximum capacity for the Dunlop Hall is 144 (subject to room layout), but 100 is recommended for a seated meal.
Dove Suite
This attractive room is suitable for parties, such as birthdays, anniversaries, wedding receptions and christenings. It also provides a suitable venue for business meetings and conferences being equipped with good visual aids including a projection screen, and laptop projector. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a separate bar facility. These are both included in the room hire fee. All china, cutlery and wine glasses are provided as is a dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridges and freezer. Double doors lead onto an outside terrace with seating. A dance floor can be laid for parties or the main hall can be hired for an evening disco.
Room size is 9.4m x 10.4m. The maximum capacity for the Dove Suite is 100 (subject to room layout), but 65 is recommended for a seated meal.
The Deck
A smaller room useful for group meetings or as an additional room if hosting a party or for laying out a buffet. The room has a small kitchenette. The Deck size is - 5.6m x 3.6m and capacity is approximately 22 for a meeting or 12 for a banquet.

Prices vary depending on activity and weekday/weekend. Lower rates are applied to sports classes and weekday bookings. Wedding receptions are priced separately.

Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: The rooms are available every day of the week, until 11am Sunday to Thursday and until midnight Friday and Saturday.
Hire Costs: Prices are dependant on activity and day of the week being hired. Each room is priced differently: Dove Suite - prices start from £25.50 per hour rising to £37 per hour. Dunlop Hall - prices start from £15.75 per hour for sports classes, rising to £32 per hour for weekend social events. Special rates apply to kids parties. The Deck - prices range from £12.50 to £15.75 per hour. Charitable rates apply, please enquire.
