About Northbourne Community Centre
The Northbourne Community Centre is one of Didcot’s most historic buildings, set in a beautiful green space right in the heart of Didcot - just a stone’s throw away from the Orchard Centre. Run by the Didcot Arts and Community Association (DACA, registered charity no. 280515), the hall is entirely volunteer-run for the benefit of the community.
The Main Hall (13.2 x 6.5m), can accommodate up to 120 people standing. The main hall is perfect for parties, local events and community groups, and fitness classes. Tables and chairs are included within the hire fee.
The main hall also has a proscenium arch stage, perfect for music recitals, gigs and theatre groups.
We also have a mezzanine level, which provides a separate break-out space, if required.
There is a small kitchen suitable for the serving of snacks and drinks but not for food preparation. We have a fully-accessible toilet and baby-changing area and 3 unisex toilets. Limited parking is available for hall users, with plenty of parking also available in the Orchard Centre.
We welcome both one-off and regular bookings.
