Shrub End Community and Sports Centre

Shrub End Community & Sports Centre is a £1.2m state of the art facility managed by Colchester United Community Foundation. The venues offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for all the community to benefit from.

The facility has several hireable indoor spaces that are available for public bookings:

- Hall

- Meeting room 

- Kitchen 

- Study support centre 

Possible events in the hall include:

- Parties 

- Clubs 

- Baby and toddler groups

- Social groups

The hall facilities includes

- An onsite 91 space car park that includes 3 disabled bays and 3 EV charging bays.

- 96 chairs and 10 tables 

- Free WIFI

- 50ich TV with HDMI cable

- Darts board and table tennis 

- A staff member onsite at all times 

Kitchen facilities include: 

- Oven with 4 hobs 

- Two fridges 

- Microwave 

- Instant boiling hot water tap  

- Dishwasher 

Study support centre includes: 

- 4 tables with 24 seats 

- 50ich TV with HDMI cable 

- Whiteboard and flip chart paper
