About Bramwell Memorial Institute (Taddington Village Hall)
Our hall lies in the conservation area of the White Peak village of Taddington, which has convenient access from the A6, lying halfway between Bakewell and Buxton. It is located opposite Taddington Hall and is a spacious building which acts as a hub for the community, with many of the village clubs and societies hosting their events there. It is also used for all kinds of celebrations by both local residents and visitors from further afield. We regularly host Live and Local events which bring quality music and theatre to rural settings.
There are two main rooms for hire; the main hall with a traditional stage, which holds about 90 people and a smaller carpeted room, which is suitable for workshops, seminars, exercise classes, meetings and sit-down events, with a capacity of up to 40. There is a central area from which there is access to a medium sized kitchen and toilets. There are car parking facilities to the rear.
