Hungerford Youth and Community Centre

Hungerford Youth and Community Centre (HYCC) is a FANTASTIC VENUE we have a large hall space, beautiful modern kitchen area in which you could run cooking activities. Our outdoor multisport pitch is ideal for running various sports activities.

HYCC is open to the community, we take our role as a venue to come together and celebrate with loved ones very seriously. The Centre is a large flexible space, suitable for a variety of uses, from a play space, to clubs, charity sales, coffee mornings, dances and staged events. We are also keen to nurture other charity and interest groups and we strive to keep HYCC affordable to all. Engagement from the community is paramount and we persevere in building up the youth centre’s image as an exceptional venue.

Internet Access

Free wireless internet access is available throughout Hungerford Youth and Community Centre.

Multi-Skills Court

Our multi-skills court opposite the Centre is fenced and regularly maintained. The flood lighting has recently been reinstated, making it useable in the evenings all year round, and a new tarmac surface laid, making it a great space for sport and games. The court and games equipment are available for hire.

Toilets

The centre has wheelchair accessible toilets located on the ground floor and baby changing facilities are also available.

Parking

The centre has 5 parking spaces for use by users, located opposite the front of the building. Additional parking is located nearby.

The centre provides a safe and cost-effective venue for groups and individuals, many of whom would not be able to afford to run at other venues (we fully subsidise the cost of hiring the centre for our youth clubs – 100% reduction – and subsidise all other charitable bookings – 25% reduction), we also offer a 10% discount for hall rentals that also use the leisure centre for parties.
