About The Riverside Centre

The Riverside Centre is a diverse, multi-use community venue located in central Newport.

Originally a Victorian gas works the building is ever evolving and is now run by Community Action Isle of Wight, an island-based charity with a focus on providing support to good causes across the island. The Riverside Centre has a variety of rooms to hire, from 3 to 300 people, for meetings,  functions and social events; with a fully licensed bar and in-house catering the Riverside Centre proudly reinvests its trading revenue into supporting island community projects.
