About The Redesdale Hall, High Street, Moreton in Marsh
The Redesdale Hall is an impressive historic building in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh, steeped in local history and dedicated to serving its community. It is run by The Redesdale Hall Trust, a registered charity, which was established to manage the property and ensure its continued use for the benefit of the community.
The Redesdale Hall offers two spaces for meetings, lectures, classes, and a variety of recreational activities; one on the ground floor and one on the first floor (accessed via a wide staircase and a stairlift, with longer term plans to install a lift).
In addition to the lower hall, the ground floor also has a kitchen, and ladies, gents and disabled toilet facilities. The front of the building has step-free access via a fixed shallow ramp.
The upper hall has a stage, a large cinema screen and is beautiful, with oak panelling and leaded windows.
Both halls are centrally heated and heating is included in the hire charge.
