Skylight Centre

The Skylight Centre is a self-contained ground floor open plan studio located in a quiet residential area a few minutes’ walk from the tube and other good transport links. It is also a couple of minutes’ walk from the green open spaces of Highbury Fields. The Centre is bright and spacious, measuring 1400sq ft, with a fitted kitchen (with sink, cups, urn, kettle, fridge, etc), three toilets and good audio-visual facilities. It has a wooden floor, central heating, high ceiling with plenty of skylights and a glass frontage, so there is good natural light. There are chairs and bean bags for at least 55 people and room for treatment tables, which may also be hired. It is available for renting by complementary therapy training schools, for movement therapies and other like-minded organisations. There are currently some free weekends each year, plus free midweek dates and free regular evenings.

The nearest station is Highbury and Islington (on the Victoria Line and Mainline), which is about 2-3 minutes’ walk.

Costs:

The daily rental costs are £375 per weekday and £420 per weekend day (9.00am-6.00pm). Hourly rental costs are £40 per hour for regular weekly use, or £42 per hour for non-regular use. This is for exclusive use of the facilities (including heating and electricity). Start up packages for regular users may be negotiated.
