Main Hall at Burns Street Studios

Burns Street Studios is a flexible 170sqm creative venue close to Glasgow city centre, offering a bright, open-plan space for rehearsals, performances, exhibitions, workshops, filming, photography and events.

The Main Hall measures approximately 10m x 17m, with generous ceiling height and a simple, adaptable layout that can be configured to suit a wide variety of projects. The space regularly hosts theatre and dance rehearsals, touring productions, art exhibitions and installations, performances, workshops, talks, launches and creative events.

Hirers have access to tables and chairs, multiple power points, a small PA system by arrangement, and a shared kitchen/breakout area with tea and coffee-making facilities, fridge and microwave. Equipment, sets and materials can also be left in the Main Hall overnight during exclusive multi-day hires.

The venue is on the first floor, with access via an external staircase and wheelchair/mobility lift, and there is an accessible toilet.

Burns Street Studios is a Community Interest Company, providing affordable and adaptable space for Glasgow's creative community, arts organisations and visiting productions. We offer full-day, weekly and longer-term hires, with flexibility for everything from early-stage R&D to exhibitions and full production rehearsals.
