About Needham Market Scouts Centre
Needham Market Scout Centre is a new, purpose-built community venue in the centre of Needham Market, opened in 2026 and run on a not-for-profit basis by 1st Needham Market Scout Group. Every penny from hire goes back into local Scouting.
You can hire the main hall, the separate meeting room or the whole centre, by the hour or by the day.
- Main hall: up to 100 people, with 14 tables and 100 chairs. £15 an hour or £150 a day.
- Meeting room: up to 15 people, conference-style tables and a TV screen. £10 an hour or £100 a day.
- Whole centre: up to 115 people. £20 an hour or £200 a day.
- Kitchen: kettles, fridge, oven and dishwasher. £20 per session.
There is level access throughout, accessible parking, an accessible WC and shower room, underfloor heating, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and parking for about 10 cars.
The centre suits children’s birthday parties, community groups and clubs, exercise and fitness classes, baby and toddler groups, training days and meetings. Regular weekly bookings are welcome. We don’t hire the centre for adult parties or adult functions that include alcohol. Bookings finish by 10pm Sunday to Friday and 11pm on Saturdays.
