• I had the most wonderful Bollywood themed party at Minstead Hall. My initial e-mail enquiry was answered promptly with all necessary information and availability given. Carol (who runs the Hall) was accommodating and helpful throughout the preparations, making herself available to show around and answer questions from the caterer, the hall dresser and the marquee company. She is 'to the point' but I like this as I knew exactly what conditions the hire had attached. The bar manager (Andy) was also very helpful. The Hall itself 'dresses' up beautifully and wowed all of my guests. I would certainly recommend this Hall.

• Excellent venue for my daughter's wedding. The facilities were brilliant and all of the guests commented on the beautiful surroundings. The hall was large enough to provide tables and seating for the 120 guests and still had plenty of room for the ceilidh. The professional wedding photographs were taken in the grounds. The Hall and bar staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. We used the large stage to host the Ceilidh band. I would recommend Minstead Hall for weddings and parties.

• I had my wedding at this venue and its a lovely place to go until you meet the women who runs the hall (carol) she was rude, miserable and a complete discrace to Minstead. She really did put a massive damper on my day and she was also abusing the catering company. I had wedding gifts and flowers going missing worth hundreds of pounds. I also hired a sweet cart and we went to pick up the next day she had left it outside in the rain. Think twice bfore booking here you will be let down by her attitude - shame really.

• My brother had a wedding reception here and the women who was in charge (Carol) was the rudest person i have ever come across. A day of joy which will be remembered for a lifetime was scuppered thanks to the attitude of this women. At one point she even said this was the worst organised wedding she had ever come across? Surely that's not the kind of thing you say to a paying customer is it? She was grumpy, abrupt, rude and just generally unpleasant! I really do feel that the owners of the hall should really be questioning why she is doing this job. Defiantly wont be coming back here again, and if your thinking of having a wedding reception here, i would give this the widest birth possible. On a brighter note the rest of the staff where very helpful, its just a shame the women in charge who is suppose to be setting an example let the side down! Awful experience.
