125 halls in rural England set to benefit from Queen's £3m jubilee fund
If your hall is in need of some funds then it might be worth taking a look into applying to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee fund which is aiming modernise 125 halls in rural areas. You can read more details on the BBC article or on the Gov.uk site. It's a nice gesture although there are most likely far more halls in need than the 125 who will share in the fund, however hopefully it will help breath some life into the most in need halls and help keep them running for the benefit of everyone in the community.
