The Alton Assembly Rooms comprise of three rooms. A main hall with stage, a studio on the upper floor and a lower room. This civic building is located on the High Street in Alton making it an ideal location for events, productions, parties, conferences and exhibitions. I booked a space at The Assembly Rooms Teddy Bear Festival and I was very pleased with the the layout of the fair and also the manager, Jason who was really helpful and knowledgeable about the event and even assisted me with some of the layout of my stall. I'd highly recommend this venue and it's manager to others and would give it more stars if I could.

On 18th August my wife and I visited Alton for the very first time. We were attracted to the magnificent Assembly Rooms and as there was obviously a function in progress, took the opportunity to take a closer look at this wonderful and historic old building. There are very few such buildings maintained to this high standard particularly as it hosts so many varied and exciting events. This almost constant usage creates the need for a high level of management control and commitment to building cleanliness, general maintenance, event planning and advertising and perhaps most importantly, customer relations, to stand any chance of success. The Manager of this building 'ticks all the boxes' in this regard and should be congratulated for running such an efficient and no doubt profitable operation. Little wonder the Table Top Sale on 18th was so well attended. We have been to many such events up and down the country and rarely, if ever, have been so impressed by the enthusiasm with which we as complete strangers, were welcomed by the young man responsible for the promotion of the Assembly Rooms. He is without doubt a great asset to the Local, Authority. Well done Jason - keep up the good work.

As a local am.dram society, we have used Alton Assembly Rooms three times a year for many years for all our productions. The standard of the refurbishment is excellent, and the co-operation and help from all the staff both before, during and after our shows has always been brilliant.

We hire a room at this venue every week for Little Tiger Cubs classes and we are extremely pleased with it. The facilities are always clean and well presented and the manager provides great ideas for marketing and promotion. An Excellent venue and great service at this venue. We will certainly continue to hire Alton Assembly Rooms for the foreseeable future.

Alton Taekwon-Do are regular users of this fantastic venue. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. We would love to run all our classes from Alton Assembly Rooms.

A wonderfully versatile venue- I have used it both corporately for large events, part of large organisations, as well as personally for my own craft sales. The venue is clean and well run and the staff are always helpful.

I enjoy going to the Assembly Rooms to take part in Crafty Kids, when I am off school. I like Jason the Manager and he helps us to make exciting things, that we can take home. My mum stays with me while I am having fun and she drinks tea with the other mummies. Thank you. Jack x

My family and I have attended various events at Alton Assembly Rooms. I wasn't sure what to expect, but wow, what a professional team and a fantastic location. The facilities are excellent, well maintained and spacious and the staff are always available and deal professionally and efficiently with any queries. I am always grateful to see details of the various events on Facebook...it saves me having to actually visit the venue to find details. Thank you Alton Assembly Rooms and keep up the good work.

I have attended the Alton Assembly Rooms for a number of events. The rooms are well kept, clean and spacious the building is truly beautiful and a joy to visit. The staff are always happy, approachable and helpful. Events here are well marketed, online and locally to maximise attendance and keep people abreast of what is happening. I would recommend this venue very highly.

I have used the Alton Assembly Rooms for a number of events. I have run Complementary Health Fairs and Spirit and Soul fairs and will soon start running 'Bumps and Babies' fairs. I love this venue. The rooms are well kept, clean and spacious and a good back drop for any event. The staff are incredibly helpful - not only for the booking but also how they help with the marketing of the event. On the day they have helped me immensely and made the event even more enjoyable and successfu. I can't recommend this venue more highly - it is excellent. :)

I hire a room at this venue every week to run Talking Tots classes and am extremely pleased with it. The facilities are always clean and warm, and the manager is always very responsive to any changes or needs (he also provides great ideas for marketing/promotion). I have had fantastic service at this venue and will certainly continue to use it for the forseeable future.
