Alton Maltings Centre

The Alton Maltings Centre is Alton's award winning venue for business functions, special occasions, charitable and community events. Our main auditorium has capacity for 500 people and features a stage with fixed audio visual equipment making it ideal for AGMs, community meetings, training events and performances. The lower ground level has a variety of rooms of all shapes and sizes and can be laid-out to suit your particular event - great for use individually for children's parties or collectively for a multi-room business conference. With an on site commercial kitchen, we can cater for your events or work with your own choice in caterer to make your event the best it should be. Alton Maltings is used by local government, police, the NHS, charitable groups and business for many reasons - as a community environment, we are set up to welcome everyone and have even won awards for our accessibility. Every room has street-level access, we have a lift and reserved disabled parking with plenty more spaces available. The Maltings is also a stunning converted barn which makes the venue an ideal choice for those special occasions. We host parties, celebrations, receptions, Christmas parties and even charity galas. Many of our rooms feature original wooden beams (from its days as a part of our town's brewing past), which frame special events perfectly.
