Rous Lench Village Hall

Situated in the centre of the pretty village of Rous Lench, formerly the estate village of the local historic mansion house, The Court, Rous Lench Village Hall is itself a historic building, full of character, boasting original beams, wood panelling and a working fireplace. It has been refurbished in recent years, with improved facilities, windows, roofing and heating all done without the loss of the historic feel of the building. It has a Main Hall with wooden floor and a raised stage area with curtains and carpet, which can be separated from the carpeted Bar Area by wooden sliding doors. It has a modern well equipped kitchen, tables and chairs, bar area and toilet facilities including one specially equipped for the disabled. There is disabled access throughout the interior of the hall, although it should be noted that certain very wide wheel chairs may not fit through all of the doorways. It is an ideal location for wedding receptions, private parties, musical events, plays etc. The beautiful nearby Green would make a lovely photographic location.
