  • The hall was the perfect venue for our son’s 5th birthday and his 25 friends with the hiring process very friendly and really simple.

  • We booked the hall for my a 5th birthday party. We met with Colin and communication about everything was brilliant. The hall was perfect. We had a bouncy castle, soft play, ride on cars and the tables set for food. There was plenty of space and the added large kitchen area, meant there was room to sort out food/drinks with ease. Everyone commented on how lovely the hall was and the setting and the fact they could sit outside if needed. Thank you. We will definitely be booking again!

  • We had a childrens party here - 20 children & 26 adults. Clean and well equipped with everything you need. Lots of space for everyone to run around; the bouncy castle; and tables and chairs for food. Very well priced.

  • recently hired the Village Hall to celebrate my retirement and was so pleased that I chose this stunning venue. From the outset, Colin the bookings officer was extremely helpful and informative, and it was beneficial to be shown around the hall and to see in person all the facilities that the venue offered. The car parking is ample and the hall provided everything you could possibly need to host a large party. All of my guests were impressed by the venue and full of praise. Nothing was too much trouble for the committee members and it was a lovely touch to find a welcoming poster from them on the front door on the day of my party. To conclude, this is a beautiful and impressive venue in a rural setting and I would highly recommend it.

  • We held such a wonderful party for our Daughter in this lovely venue. I dealt with Colin throughout the process, he was extremely helpful and knowledgable, always happy to answer my extra questions and quick to respond also. The venue is such a lovely size, much cosier than a normal village hall, although we still had around 20 adults and 13 children, a Dj set up, bouncy castle and soft play area. The kitchen is very very well equipped and had everything we could have wanted. I would say it’s probably better for events during the cooler months as there is no real outdoor space except for the car park but it was perfect for our party in September. We would absolutely recommend this venue!

The facilities are very well kept, with everything on hand you may need from cups and saucers to cutlery and everything else. The bathrooms are very clean, the location very beautiful and peaceful. Colin was very helpful and made sure everything was to our standards. Very nice hall, Colin was extremely helpful and friendly and will definitely book again.

  • We hired the hall for a gender reveal party, due to last minute changes we only decided to hire the hall 2 days before the event. With such short notice we wasn’t sure we would be able to hire the hall but Colin was very helpful and we managed to get booked in. The hall itself was perfect, it had everything we needed and more! We loved it that much we booked it again that very day. Thank you Colin for arranging at such short notice - resulting in the party being able to go ahead! Everybody who attended the party commented on how lovely the hall is. We will definitely be hiring some more! Thanks again.

  • I was booked at Abbots Morton Village Hall to provide catering for a one day training course. On arrival I was welcomed by Colin who ran through the kitchen facilities and all the useful info I might need for the day. As a personal chef I tend to pack for every eventuality so travel with a lot of kit... To my surprise I didn’t need any of it, I found the kitchen to be incredibly well equipped with excellent quality crockery & cutlery, so clean and very user friendly. I would have no hesitation in returning to cater here.. I believe the hall lends itself to a variety of events from training days, informal parties, wedding celebrations or perhaps even an exclusive supper club. Highly recommended.

  • We booked the hall due to the beautiful village setting and the excellent assistance from the co-ordinators. We were extremely happy with the service and standard of equipment. We wanted to dress the hall to our own taste and we were able to come and go throughout the whole week end, as necessary, and felt really assured that our property would be safe. It was a very successful stress free day thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Pemberton who have our full recommendation and assurances we will be back!

  • A lovely hall. The annual Harvest Supper for St Peter's church on October 10th 2014 was a sell-out and there was a great atmosphere for the 80 people enjoying a two course meal. Helpers in the kitchen were amazed by the three-minute washing cycle of the new commercial dishwasher.... what an asset!
