About St Marys Church Hall
The Hall is fully accessible; with 2 disabled parking bays, dropped kerb and level access into and throughout the building. The car park has space for another 30 cars.
There is a toilet with additional facilities available; with wheelchair access.
The hall building is in 2 separate parts, a smaller hall and a larger one. They can be joined together by opening partitions. A bouncy castle can be accommodated in the large hall (taking up about half the space) but must only be 10' high. The larger hall is 38 ft long x 24 ft wide.
There are plenty of chairs and tables. A projector, screen, HDMI cable and microphones are available. Heating is by a gas boiler, and is very efficient.
The kitchen is fitted with a water boiler for drinks preparation; and a hot water supply to both sinks. A refrigerator; microwave and cooker are available. There is a good supply of mugs, cups, saucers and plates.
There is no rubbish collection; so users are requested to take home rubbish.
The hall is licensed for alcohol (we do not stock any alcohol; those who wish to supply drink at their event must bring it with them and take any left away with them). We are also licensed for music, dancing and showing films (under strict conditions).
Numbers which can be accommodated depends entirely on the use the Hall is being put to - ie cinema style, quiz tables, lunches set out on tables, etc.
