Thames Chase Education Room

Thames Chase Forest Centre is a unique room hire venue. Set in the heart of the community forest we can cater for conferences, meetings, wedding receptions and parties. 

The Ford education room converted from the farm cart shed, is used by schools and community groups for study, as a conference centre and for private celebrations.

Family & Children’s Parties

The forest centre is ideal for your family celebration. From the Essex Barn and Forde Education Room your guests can spill out on to the grass quadrangle. There is also the playground available for children to burn off some energy. Social Hire is only available at the weekend during centre opening hours.  

Schools & Youth Groups visits

The Essex Barn and Ford Education room provides unique classroom space. The surrounding Broadfields site is an excellent resource for educational visits. Education volunteers and equipment is available see Schools and Youth groups’ page.

Meetings & Conferences

Here at Thames Chase Forest centre we provide a truly unique meeting and conference venue. 

Whether your event is large or small, a meeting or a show, our aim is to create a friendly atmosphere for you and your customer.

Catering:

Food can be provided by our in-house caterer (excluding weddings), or you can supply your own.

By hiring with us you will be contributing to an environmental charity that makes a difference, The Thames Chase Trust.

Car Parking

£2 all day

Per day - payable at the pay & display machines

All income raised from hiring is used to maintain and run the forest centre and improve the landscape within the Community Forest.
