About Bore Place - The Large Barn
Home to the Commonwork Trust and Commonwork Organic Farms Ltd, Bore Place is set in 500 acres of countryside which encompass an organic market garden, conference centre, environmental education centre, as well as programmes on sustainability, organic agriculture, horticulture, art, health and well-being.
Bore Place is a living example of sustainable living, learning and working. From the energy we use, the food we eat and the rainwater we recycle, we aim to challenge conventional behaviours with fresh thinking.
We offer 5 on-site accommodation options, and an additional meeting space which can be hired individually or collectively.
Our on-site organic kitchen can cater to all your food and beverage needs (including any specific dietary requirements/allergies). Our chef will prepare meals taking the current season as a guide and using as much as possible from our own organic farm and gardens. We pride ourselves on providing fresh, delicious food, sourced as ethically as possible.
Outdoor seating areas and access to beautiful gardens and the wider estate for walks and picnics. Enjoy the woods, ponds and meadows on the farm trail.
