About Pinetrees Community Centre
Pinetrees, is a modern two storey Community Centre situated on the Circle in the Pinehurst area of Swindon and was opened in January 2012. Since opening its doors it has been a venue for a wide range of local, town-wide and national community activities and events. This vibrant community centre is home to over 25 regular groups and activities with an average of over 50 sessions of activities taking place each week.
Pinetrees has a number of rooms and areas that can be booked for activities including a large spacious hall, meeting room and the cafe area. The centre boasts a commercial size contemporary kitchen that is available to be used .
To the front of the building is a large public open grassed area across which is a row of shops. To the rear of the building is the large car park, including spaces for blue page holders and a large enclosed cycle rack. This area also has exstensive gardens, with seating and planting areas maintained by local volunteers.
The meeting room is on the first floor, along with the Parish office and a lift is available for those who require it. All first floor rooms have individual intercoms fitted so that contact can be made without coming upstairs. Next to the meeting room is a kitchenette where teas and coffees can be made by those using the first floor rooms. The first floor also has its own toilets and shower room.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the centre.
