About St. Peter’s Methodist Church & Hall
St. Peter’s Methodist is a great community and business resource right in the heart of Canterbury.
The main hall is suitable for a wide range of events and activities including parties, markets and fairs, fitness classes, open days, wakes, christenings, childrens parties, clubs and societies, exhibitions and wedding receptions. The hall is equipped collapsible seating and tables and can hold up to 150 people. It has a kitchen equipped with a large range cooker, fridge, dishwasher, crockery and cutlery and tea and coffee facilities.
Our church is also available for hire and is ideal for lectures, choirs/orchestras or band concerts/rehearsals - it is fully equipped with a 16 channel 2000watt sound system, concert grand piano and of course a church organ with seating for 200 people.
We also have a smaller meeting room for hire that can seat up to 30 people and is ideal for small meetings.
Our hire rates are variable, with great rates for local community events and charities.
