About Peaslake Village Hall
Community. Character, Charm.
Peaslake Village Hall was built in 1923 as a memorial to the brave Peaslake men who served in the 1914-18 war. It's official name is the War Spottiswoode Memorial Hall honouring both those servicemen and the two Spottiswoode sisters whose donations helped build the hall.
Sited in the heart of the beautiful village of Peaslake and nestled by the Surrey Hills, the Village Hall is at the heart of community social events. Notably, the August bank-holiday Peaslake Summer Fair, the Christmas Evening and wonderful street parties marking national anniversaries.
Anyone may hire the Hall for private parties, wedding receptions, children's parties and family get togethers.
It is also available as a hub for larger scale events such as the Hurtleberry Trail Run.
