Dodford Village Hall

Dodford Village Hall is located in the Heart of Rural Worcestershire, and is available to hire for a whole range of events including Weddings, Christening, Birthday Parties, other events & regular group or club bookings.

The covered entrance way leads to a reception foyer to provide a focal entrance to our lovely village hall. From here you will find direct access to both our Main Hall and smaller secondary hall and recently fully refurbished washroom facilities. A fully fitted Kitchen is available to all hirers, and the use of the separate bar area may also be requested, both conveniently located off the smaller hall.

MAIN HALL

Our large main hall boasts a large stage area and lends itself to be used for a variety of events, from `Club Events`, Fundraising Events and Children’s Birthday Parties to those special larger events such as Weddings, Anniversaries and Christenings.

With its impressive 14.5m x 9m floor area (excluding the Stage), and a capacity for 200 guests, 80 if seated at tables, 120 in rows for a performance event, it is also perfect for the inclusion of a bouncy castle for a `weather friendly` children’s party or the addition of a marquee liner for that perfect wedding or party setting. SMALL HALL

With direct access to the Main Hall, this is certainly anything but small. With its 5.8m x 7m floor space and with direct access to the kitchen and bar, this hall provides the perfect space for a range of activities or secondary area to enhance your hire experience. Whether that be as a reception area for your special day, as an area allocated for refreshments at your fundraising event, or independently for a meeting.

This room is offered for hire with the main hall, or independently.

KITCHEN

Our fully fitted kitchen provides the facilities that you need to cater for your event, and has a serving counter directly to the small hall. You will have the use of adequate workspace, an Electric Range double Oven, Refrigerator, Microwave, Toaster and Kettles as well as crockery and cutlery. Separate areas and Hand Wash sink ensure compliance with hygiene rules.

BAR

The separate bar area is available to hire as an `add on` to your booking. Like the kitchen this benefits from a serving counter directly to the small hall. Hirers of the bar will enjoy the use of a separate work top and sink area as well as a bottle chiller, refrigerator and glassware. The space also allows for the use of draft beer. Licencing regulations do apply if you intend to sell alcohol, and permission must first be sought from us. A licence must then be acquired from the local authority. STAGE

The stage is available for hirers to use, by request, subject to availability.

WASHROOMS

Hirers will have the use of our recently refurbished Male, Female & Disabled facilities.

TABLES & CHAIRS

Tables & chairs are provided and are located in a separate storage area.

Availability – Twenty Four 2.5ft x 5ft Tables, Eight 2.5ft x 2.5ft Tables, 120 chairs.
