About Bridgwater Town Hall
The Town Hall has sat proudly in the High Street of Bridgwater for over 150 years. Although its historical importance has been maintained the building can also offer a state of the art PA system, a sound system, free WIFI and a fully kitted out kitchen.
We have three rooms available to hire-
The Theatre which is a versatile space with stage, lighting and beautiful ceilings. The theatre can be used conventionally as an auditorium for a performance which can seat 319 but can also be laid out to accommodate 100 in a banquet layout and 40 in a boardroom layout.
The Charter Hall is situated on the ground floor of the Town Hall, with an un-stocked bar where you can enjoy drinks and nibbles. There is a wall mounted boiling water dispenser. The room provides suitable space for various meeting/training room layouts or for fundraising events such as coffee mornings. The Charter Hall can accommodate 50 people in a theatre layout, 48 as a banquet and 20 as a boardroom set up.
The Bridgwater Room is the Town Hall’s premium room. Situated on the first floor of the Town Hall and is accessible by stairs and a stair lift. The room provides suitable space for various meeting/training room layouts or for small formal events. The Bridgwater Room can accommodate 120 people in a theatre style, 60 as a banquet layout and 26 as a boardroom layout.
