Bridgwater Sea Cadets’ Unit is a fantastic venue that has recently been refurbished and is situated right in the heart of Bridgwater.

We can provide a location for a variety of events including weddings, birthdays, conferences, presentations and many other occasions with a maximum capacity of 150 in our main hall.

We have a licensed bar that can be opened at no extra cost for your Friday and Saturday bookings and staffed by volunteers. Basic kitchen facilities are included within the main hall bookings and use of the cookers can be added for a small fee. We have secure on-site parking and are situated close to public transport links. We also have free WiFi, a projector screen and tannoy/audio system available for use.

As a charity, we solely rely on the support of local communities and organisations who feel strongly about helping teenagers find their way in life.

Hiring our hall contributes directly towards keeping Sea Cadets Bridgwater running and providing a safe, fun, and educational place for local children.

Availability and Hire Costs

Availability: Available weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Licensed bar available on Friday and Saturday.

Hire Costs: Day bookings: £22 per hour for the main hall, including basic kitchen use. Smaller rooms available at approx £8 - £11 per hour. Minimum booking period of 2 hours. Evening bookings 6pm - midnight: £120. Bar available at no additional cost. Refundable security deposit. Please contact our Volunteer Bookings Officer at [email protected] for more information.
