it is a friendly village with a lot to offer, it has shops and the village hall where special events can be held, it has the new sure start centre with excellent facilities for under 5s and there parents. it has ducky's farm which can be visited all around the year ans is not too expensive. there is the airfield that hosts all kind of flying sports and a car boot on sundays, also a haven holiday park, the steam festival is held on the air field annually. this is the home of cedric robinson queens guide to the sands, who when the tides and at the right time of year takes people on a walk across the sands to morecambe.there are churches and an assortment of old and new dwelling homes, its a lovely and wellcoming place. i come from kendal and love it in flookborough.
