Our community space is available to community groups and organisations.. The community space holds up to 50 people depending on the layout and is a flexible space for different numbers of people to meet. It is at the back of the shop, but hirers can also hire space the bookshop outside of working hours. Hirers have commented that it has a relaxed atmosphere for groups with a good amount of natural daylight. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, disabled toilet and is accessible from the high street. We have regular art exhibitions on the back wall from local talented artists which adds an extra level of interest to the space.
Our rates are affordable and start from £5 an hour and we provide discounts for block bookings.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Weekdays, weekends, evenings, public holidays
Hire Costs: from £5 for one to one room, large community space £17 hour, evening events £10 extra per hour, public holidays £15 extra per hour
