October Books Community Space

Our community space is available to community groups and organisations.. The community space holds up to 50 people depending on the layout and is a flexible space for different numbers of people to meet. It is at the back of the shop, but hirers can also hire space the bookshop outside of working hours. Hirers have commented that it has a relaxed atmosphere for groups with a good amount of natural daylight. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, disabled toilet and is accessible from the high street.
Our rates are affordable and start from £11 an hour and we provide discounts for block bookings.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Weekdays, weekends, evenings
Hire Costs: Meeting Room space £11 an hour, large community space £17 hour, whole space £24 an hour. All have access to the kitchen. Evening events are from £30 an hour to cover staff costs. For more details go to www.octoberbooks.org/community-space-for-hire-in-southampton
