About Trevone Women's Institute Hall
The Women's Institute Hall is a large vaulted hall in its own grounds situated at the top of Trevone Road in Windmill, Trevone, with off road parking for up to 10 cars at the rear and a further two spaces at the front suitable for disabled drivers or passengers. Additional parking is available along Trevone Road. There is wheelchair access through the front doors.
The main hall is 30ft x 30ft (9m x 9m) which can accommodate up to 80 people seated. There is a raised stage, piano, a small committee room and a store room as well as toilets, one of which has disabled access. The modern well equipped kitchen was refurbished in 2018 and has a water boiler, microwave, range cooker, fridge and dishwasher as well as a selection of cutlery, crockery and glasses. The hall has WiFi access and an entertainment licence. Ten large tables to seat 6-8 are available to use, plus smaller card tables and 80 chairs. There is central heating throughout and the whole building is well maintained by the WI. There is a defibrillator on the outside wall.
Apart from WI monthly meetings, local group meetings, classes and social gatherings, the hall is available to hire throughout the year for long or short term hire, depending on availability.
