Woody's Social Space is the perfect space for meetings and medium sized private functions.
Situated just above our bar and restaurant, the social space features comfortable seating, including booth seating, sofas and loveseats, a large HD screen and a spacious terrace, making it a versatile space that can bring a fun and relaxed experience to your gathering, or a more structured layout perfect for hosting business meetings and presentations for up to 30 people.
Different types of seating are available, from large meeting tables, to smaller tables, U-shaped seating for presentations, etc.
For social functions, the space includes two pool tables that can be used exclusively by your guests. These pool tables can easily be removed to suit the needs of your booking.
The large terrace is perfect for enjoying in the summer months. Catering packages including refreshments, a light lunch or dinner at the restaurant can be created with your specific requirements.

Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Our venues are heavily used by our students during term-time, which means availability on certain days (particularly weekdays) may be limited. Specifically, Wednesdays are quite hard to reserve for external bookings. Please do enquire and we will get back to you with some suitable dates. Bookings are made on a first-come-first-served basis and entire venue bookings are easier to secure during the Winter and Summer breaks.
Hire Costs: Day rate - £300 + VAT Half day - £200 + VAT . These prices are for the room hire only. If you require staff to work the bar, wait on guests or security, these will come at an additional cost. Similarly, tech equipment such as our AV system, microphones, stage, etc. are also charged extra.
