Charlton Church Hall in St Alphege Road, Dover, is a versatile space, perfect for children's parties, meetings, clubs, baptism parties, small-scale wedding receptions and more. With a well-equipped fitted kitchen, Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilets (with baby-changing facility), on a quiet, no-through road, it is a comfortable and convenient venue for your occasions.There is a fire exit on each side of the building.
There is a stage for your entertainers, speakers or karaoke, and plenty of tables and chairs. 60 can be seated at tables comfortably. There is a sound system and a projector with screen. For a small additional charge, a football table and table tennis table may be used. This attractive hall built in 1960 has modern conveniences that make it a pleasant, practical place for clubs, parties and meetings. Currently it is used for training days, receptions, lunches, clubs including dance, meetings and evening entertainments.
The hall has bright, cheerful window blinds and a jolly mural. There is a screen and projector, and a sound system. The hall is in a residential street and so is not suitable for late-night parties (9pm is the cut-off time).
