About CHARLTON CHURCH HALL
A spacious, pleasant hall in a quiet, no-through road next to magnificent Charlton Church, available for parties, clubs, meetings, rehearsals and events. It has a stage, sound system and projector with screen.
The hall has a useful fitted kitchen equipped with cutlery, crockery, gas oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There are colourful blinds that create a cheerful ambience and there are plenty of tables and chairs (the hall seats 60).
Its wooden floor makes it suited for dance clubs and and children's activities, and gives it an excellent acoustic for musical rehearsals. The Charlton Church Hall is a popular venue for parties and lunches, and is available for receptions after church baptisms and weddings, and for evening events. It is regularly used by community groups, for staff training, baby groups, worship groups, dance clubs, Brownies & Guides and the Dover Youth Orchestra.
There are designated toilets, including disabled and baby-change. There are internal fire-doors and two fire-exits, and fire extinguishers are up to date and tested. A first aid kit is available.
There is plenty of parking nearby at Morrisons - 3 hours free.
