• I can honestly say that in my 30 years of hiring the hall, I have always found the bookings clerk to be most helpful.

• The lady who takes the bookings is so rude - I live in barming and asked about hire of the hall on a saturday in novemeber for a craft show and was told they dont hire the hall out for that sort of thing! go to Fant Hall!!!! It is block booked every day by the pre school, dance club etc etc - just dont bother you wont get far!

• Well, I wouldn't advise anyone to even make an enquiry into hiring out this hall after my hostile response. I was told 'I am most certainly not hiring out barming village hall!' 20 seconds after calling to enquire, as she asked me where I lived. Apparently living in rochester gives cause for this kind of rude reply!
