Heatherside Community Centre is the perfect venue for social, cultural, and business events of all kinds. The centre is well-maintained, offering a clean, bright, welcoming, and flexible environment that reflects the care and attention of our experienced staff.
A recently upgraded audio-visual system can enhance every event. The new high-quality yet easy-to-use sound system ensures clear, professional audio for presentations, performances, and celebrations alike, while the modern projector delivers sharp, vivid visuals—ideal for meetings, film nights, and community gatherings. The centre has recently received acoustic treatment to optimise the hall for music and speech.
We have a new and high bandwidth Wi-Fi system for users making the Centre ideal for streamed video or group Zoom events.
The centre also features a well-equipped kitchen for catering and refreshments, and a stage area that’s perfect for performances, speakers, or live entertainment although it’s not a proscenium stage and there is no curtain. There are several meeting rooms for smaller events or ‘break-out’ spaces.
