Facilities
The community hall at Grizebeck is in an easily accessible location set in beautiful countryside with plenty of good off-road parking. This pleasing landscaped site offers stunning views of the Cumbrian Fells.
Built in summer 2011, the modern spacious and airy hall offers a pleasant and welcoming entrance with easy access to the toilets, a shower and baby changing facilities. There is under floor heating in the main room which is 120 m2 and can easily accommodate 100 people.
There a double doors which open onto a west-facing verandah providing a fantastic area to relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
There is broadband connection to the hall. The hall includes a hearing loop, disabled toilets and full wheelchair access throughout.
The large fully fitted kitchen has plenty of work surfaces and is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, microwave and cooker and has plenty of crockery and cutlery. There is a serving hatch and a door from the kitchen to the main hall.
The hall is situated in the village of Grizebeck on the A595, 1/3 mile from the main junction with the A5092. It lies 7 miles north west of Ulverston and 14 miles north of Barrow in Furness. From the A5092/A595 junction, on turning onto the A595 towards Barrow in Furness, the hall is found on the right hand side in Grizebeck village and the car park is at the rear of the building.
