Located on Main Street, opposite the village pub, it is the perfect venue for a party or large gathering.

The Centre is run by paid staff - our Manager, Sarah, Cleaner, Sue, and Alan our Caretaker.  Their aim is to ensure that you have everything you need to make your event/activity successful.  With a Facebook page and good local links Sarah, who has managed the Community Centre for nearly years, can help you advertise your event or new class, should that be necessary .

Please contact Sarah.  She'll be delighted to show you round!

  • I have recently begun running Yoga classes in Wilberfoss Community Centre and feel very thankful to have found such a great venue. The enthusiasm with which the Centre is run is contagious and helps to make the whole experience a pleasure. It is clean, comfortable and well organised, with great attention to detail so that events run well alongside one another and as a newcomer to the area, the help given on organisation and promotion has been invaluable.

  • We have been running a weekly Table Tennis Club since January at the Community Centre. Sarah has always been really helpful and supportive with our new venture and has also been flexible about changes in times etc. She has also helped us to advertise our new club and our fundraising events. The facilities are excellent and the rooms are very adaptable, to suit different types of events and numbers of people attending. It is always immaculate and the caretaker is really helpful as well.

  • For about 15 years I was lucky to use the Community Centre in Wilberfoss for twice weekly and later weekly keep fit classes. I rent several Halls but nothing can be compared with the Centre in Wilberfoss. The room has been clean, easy to warm up, a good price and good clean toilets. The reason I left is that we moved to a different area. I still miss the class there, but keep good memories. Whenever I had a request for a change in time or to stay a bit later they helped me. And lastly there is a good and safe car park. Altogether an excellent Community Centre that really helps the community in Wilberfoss. Keep up the good work! Jos Tysma, Bempton.

  • Wilberfoss Art Group has used the Wilberfoss Community Centre for many years. There is plenty of space and an excellent kitchen area for the half time cup of tea. The hall is clean and well kept, the tables are always set out as we need them before we arrive. The rates are very reasonable and Sarah is always most helpful.

  • I've been using the community centre to run my V-Healthy classes for about 7 years now. It's a great centre as it's always spotless (unlike many of the other venues I use) & the room sizes vary. I've never had any problems at the centre & would recommend anyone to use it. The caretaker is super helpful. Once I noticed there was a tree that had fallen down outside & called him. He came out within minutes to move it.

Sarah has been fantastic since our very first communication, we find the process very simple including bookings, changes and payment. The hall is an excellent space and very good value for money, it’s always clean and tidy!
