About Catton Village Hall
CATTON VILLAGE HALL
In 1953, Lord Leconfield, who had owned the villages of High and Low Catton left the old school building to the Rector and Church Wardens of Catton Parish. These good people, in turn, made it possible for the Parishioners to convert the premises into a Village Hall.
Thanks to the hard work of a dedicated inaugural committee the Hall became, and still remains, the hub of the community with family parties, superb entertainment, cultural events and important meetings held within. Among other activities you can keep fit and play table tennis.
The maintenance and improvement of the Village Hall through the years has depended upon enthusiastic committees and community support in attending events – none more so than today.
