Following an extensive building project St. Gabriel’s Church, Popley now has two brand new rooms and an extended hall available for one off or regular hire.
Our rooms include newly fitted AV equipment, Wi-Fi internet access and an Audio Hearing Loop system.
We also have a large, fully refurbished kitchen and new toilets including disabled access and baby change facilities.
We are centrally located in Popley with car parking available and easy access to the M3, A33 and Basingstoke Ring Road system.
Our Main Hall is a large, light open space with easy to clean washable flooring. It is an excellent choice for wedding receptions, parties, meals, social events, conferences and community use. This room can hold 100 people for a standing party, 60 for a buffet and 50 for a seated meal.
We have two further rooms which are both light, bright carpeted spaces suitable for meetings, day or evening classes, community use or smaller social events. The largest room can hold up to 30 people for a party and 20 for a meal, while our smaller room can hold 25 for a party and 15 for a meal.
Hire includes the use of the kitchen for making and serving light refreshments.
Availability and Hire Costs
Availability: Our rooms are available to hire Monday to Saturday between 9am-9pm.
Hire Costs: The hire rate for our Main Hall is £20.00 per hour. Our other rooms are available for £17.50 per hour, and £15.00 per hour. Kitchen use for making light refreshments is included in the hire. For the preparation and serving of meals and buffets the kitchen is charged at £5.00 per hour and includes crockery and cutlery.
