Walford Hall

Walford Hall's main hall has been recently refurbished and is now available for Hire. It is neutrally decorated and suitable for exercise classes, meetings and events.

Walford Hall is located on Carey Street in Central Reading, close to train stations and bus routes. There is parking on site for up to five cars, with free on-street parking for up to two hours. The nearest public car park is at Broad Street Mall. 

The main hall has a maximum capacity of 75 Please note this is calculated on standard capacity. Please seek advice on Covid-safe capacity for your event. The hall has 20 tables and 46 chairs available for hirers to use. Hirers have access to our kitchen at no extra charge. The Hall also has separate male and female toilets and an accessible toilet. 

Walford Hall is not licensed for public entertainment or the sale of alcohol. If you wish to play recorded music in the hall please inform us at the time of booking so we can ensure that it is within the terms of our music license.

All hall hire revenue is used to support the work of Reading Association for the Blind, a charity providing support and social activities to people living with sight loss in Reading Borough.
