St Catherine's Centre

The hall provides a multi-purpose space that is part of the larger St Catherine’s Centre. It is hired by a wide range local groups, organisations or individuals.

It can also be hired for a variety of one-off events, mainly at weekends and during the school holidays. It is a great venue for children’s parties, afternoon teas, wedding receptions, baptism parties, anniversaries, small business meetings or training, church retreats, conferences and Easter/Summer schools.

The main hall is an L shape, 13 metres long, 11 metres wide at the widest and 6.5 metres wide at the narrowest. It can be divided into two areas through use of the heavy curtains installed. There is capacity for 100 people standing or around 80 people sitting.The hall is equipped with modern multimedia facilities that allow for a variety of film shows, presentations and conference facilities

8 small and 9 large Go Pak tables are provided along with 70 stackable chairs. 8 rectangular coffee-type tables are also available.

The recently refurbished kitchen measures approximately 2 by 2.5 metres. It is adjacent to the hall with a serving hatch for easy access. It is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and hot water heater. Crockery and cutlery for 80 is available.

All of the Church Centre is easily accessible with wheelchair access from the carpark into the building and easy ramp access into the hall.

There are 2 large Accessible toilets within the Centre, one of which is adjacent to the hall. Each one has Baby changing facilities.

There is car parking for 20 vehicles, including two disabled bays. Additional on street parking is available.

We are a registered charity and the buildings are run by committed worshippers who are largely volunteers.
