Kambala Clubroom

The Kambala Clubroom is run by the local Residents Association, and is a Community Space within the Kambala Estate in Battersea. We use the Clubroom for our own meetings and events, but also hire it to local community groups, businesses, and individuals. In the main room, we provide seats for 40 people, and have several folding tables. At one end of the room is an archway with a curtain rail - we can provide curtains so that this can be used for theatre performances, presentations, etc. There is a small kitchen with a fridge, a water boiler, and a Microwave Combination Oven. We do not currently have a cooker hob. We have a Wifi Router in the Office (at one end of the Hall), which hirers are welcome to use (we will provide the password, if requested) - but we do not guarantee the availability of the Internet Connection, or the range of the signal. Because the Clubroom is in the centre of our Housing Estate, and forms the Ground Floor of a Residential Block, we don't allow private parties, or anything else that would require sound systems, DJ mixing Decks, etc. We make an exception for Childrens Parties, where amplified music is not required. We also don't allow alcohol (unfortunately, there have been too many incidents where Hirers have allowed their guests to become drunk, and cause disturbance to other Residents).
