Allens Cross Community Centre

Allens Cross Community Centre was one of the first Centres to open in the UK. With a Cadbury family heritage it has strong historical significance.

There are two potential halls for hire.

The Main Hall has a stage and access to plenty of toilets. There is a foyer area and a kitchen. It has maximum seating for up to 100 people.

The Florence Pickering Hall also has several toilets and a kitchen but is smaller and cosier with armchairs and a lower ceiling. Capacity 40-50 people.

There is parking on site for about 18 cars and on the street.

It is situated in a residential area so not suitable for noisy parties, or events over 100 people. We do not take bookings for weddings, 18th or 21st birthday parties.

If alcohol is to be served permission must be obtained from the management.

Access is until10pm and gates are closed at 10:30pm


The hall is run mainly by volunteers and the office is serviced from 10-1pm Monday - Fridays.

Hire Costs: One off Private bookings: Main Hall - £25/hr Florence Pickering Hall - £20/hr For regular group bookings there is a £25 annual fee Affiliate Rates - £25/year plus Main Hall - £16.50/hr Florence Pickering Hall - £10/hr Affilated groups are those which pay a membership fee, hire halls for regular sessions, attend trustees meetings and serve people from the local area.
